Audi A7 competition: To celebrate 25 years of TDI
Audi offers a special edition of the A7 Sportback 3.0 TDI Twin Turbo for demonstrating its expertise in diesel technology for 25 years and celebrate victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. On this occasion, the V6 earns 6 horses and a specific finish.
Under the hood of the Audi A7 Sportback competition, the V6 TDI Twin Turbo has a capacity of 326 hp between 4,000 rev/min and 4500 rev/min (against 320 horsepower between 3,900 rev/min and 4600 rev/min on the classic version) and a torque of 650 Nm at 1400 rev/min and 2800 rev/min (unchanged). When the driver requests the engine at full load, the V6 delivers a temporary additional 20 horsepower. The V6 is equipped with a NOx reduction, which allows it to conform to Euro 6. The CO2 emissions stand at 162 g/km on the approval cycle.
The power transmission is the 4 wheels through an automatic 8-speed. The chassis is lowered 20mm and it is based on 20-inch wheels shod with 265/35 tires dimensions. They hide behind their five-spoke red brake calipers.
Outside the A7 competition is available with four colors: Daytona Gray, Misano Red, Sepang Blue and Nardo Grey. The model is always fitted with S-line kit plus mirror caps and shades of black tailpipes. LED headlights (LED Matrix optional) are standard, as are dynamic flashing display.
Inside, the black color dominates. The A7 is equipped application combining aluminum and black wood. The seats are Valcona leather (black or dark gray). The customer may as well opt for the optional sports seats. They bring a bit of color in the interior with contrasting stitching in red or gray.
