Volkswagen Golf R, now with 310 horses

Volkswagen continues to revamp the Golf range. Now released the update of the most extreme variant, The R, which differs from the rest of the family for aesthetics, power and performance.

The bodyworks showed until now are the hatchback with three doors and Variant, the Golf family option. The previous range of the model also had a hatchback with five doors.
By its part, the mechanical is confirmed by the 2.0 TSI engine, a gasoline engine with direct and indirect injection, turbo and intercooler, which in the range 2017 has been optimized to perform even more, reaching 310 horsepower power (before it was 300) and to the 400 Nm of torque (before 380).
It is accompanied by manual or automatic DSG with double-clutch boxes, both with six speeds. In addition, the traction is permanent integral, while the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is 4.6 seconds.
Now it only remains to know the interior, which should add to the changes of the range, which can now include gesture control and digital board, and fully configurable, with 12.3 – inch screen.
